Skin Cancer Detection & Management

Skin Cancers are majorly arises from the Skin. They are mainly due to abnormal growth of the Cells that have the ability to spread all other parts of the body of an individual. It occurs when unrepaired DNA damage to skin cells most often caused by ultraviolet radiation from sunshine or tanning beds triggers mutations, or genetic defects, that lead the skin cells to multiply rapidly and form malignant tumour. Basal cell skin cancer (BCC), Squamous-Cell Skin Cancer (SCC) and Melanoma are the common types of skin cancer seen in most of the individuals. Thus the non-melanoma skin cancer can be easily cured. Detection and Management depend on the type of cancer, location of the cancer, age of the person, and whether the cancer is primary or a recurrence. Treatment is also determined by the specific type of cancer.
